In August I saw something very strange. I did about 7000€ player losses from maybe 9 depositors from one of my sites. Then there was a strange guy from the UK who won about 500€ every day at Roulette. At the end he had won over 9000€. So my balance was at about -2000€. Ok, I have no negative Carry Over, but for the Casino it’s a desaster.
Additionally I “lose” my complete Affiliate Profit for one month, which was the month before over 3500€.
I thought the player would perhaps gamble again this month, but he seems to never play again. A clever guy indeed.
What are your oberservations? Have you seen such Lucky Guys? Do they come back and lose their money after a few weeks or month? This guy is inactive for about 4 weeks now :flush:
Cheers, Matt :hattip:
HI Matt,
We had a winner last month $350’000 on Slots. In the end he only took $6000 out of the casino and lost the rest back.
But I have a better scenario for you that works brilliantly for Affiliates:
An Affiliate brings a player who initially deposits $100. This player then wins $100’000
Lets just say this is on the 29th of the month. The affiliates earnings have all been wiped off. Do not dismay!!!!
Come 1st of next month the neg earnings are wiped off( IF YOU ARE A C-PLANET AFFILIATE
. The Psyche of a player is to continue playing but only if they experienced the following:
Great games,
Great graphics
Great overall entertainment
Great customer support
Great retention and VIP relations
I have seen this a few times where the player then starts playing with the $100’000 before withdrawing his winnings. The affiliate suddenly has all this money in his net win.
Even though the casino never actually receives any of the money, the player is loosing money he didn’t actually deposit. Bar the initial $100 .
I paid an affiliate $40’000 in earnings from a $100 deposit two months ago. In the exact scenario.
A little unfair for us but good for affiliates, which is what we want in the long run:-)
In regards to your scenario , it sounds a bit strange to me. Roulette is one of the game where the odds are better for the player that is why you don’t find many Roulette bonuses. If there is a pattern of a player winning 500 everyday on Roulette then it is up to the casino /affiliate program to check this out as it maybe fraudulent.
So in a nutshell “killer retention” is not the answer its the whole picture, a comprehensive package.
