Keywords are vitally important. The ‘keywords’ tag is not.

Doubt it. More likely to be because the keywords ‘Grand’, ‘Mondial’, ‘Casino’ and ‘Bonus’ occur more than any others in the content = high keyword density for your chosen phrase.
Plus, that page is linked to directly and prominently from the home page.
