This kind of thing is a little more complex than first appears.
I guess it all depends on what is registered as a download. I run a white label site and I have things set up so that a download of the casino must be triggered by someone who genuinely wants to download the casino.
In essence, if you are on, for example, the preview games page of the site and you click ‘download’, you will be taken to a page that explains the download process, what you can expect, etc. etc. It’s only once you are on this page and click ‘download’ that you will actually download the casino software.
This isn’t what most online casino sites do and so a download is often triggered before the potential customer is actually ready to download anything. This, potentially, skews the numbers.
That’s why I always suggest looking at the sign up to real money player ratio for a proper idea of conversions for an online casino. 1 in 7 or better is fine by me.
