Keating 5 happened over 20 years ago and McCain was found NOT guilty in the S & L scandal.
That was then, Obama’s is now. If you think that Congree will investigate his ties to those organizations or the present banking mess, then you’re dreaming. We bailed out Wall Street and the people who were the cause of this mess!

The past is prologue. McCain had very close ties to Keating who, at the time, played an explicit role in the epic failure of the Savings & Loans institutions (namely Lincoln Savings & Loan, which Keating was Chairman of), which cost the Federal Gov./Taxpayers $160 Billion. Just because McCain wasn’t found guilty does not mean he didn’t show a complete lack of ethical awareness or judgement. Forward 20 years & McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis has shady ties to Freddie. $15,000 a month for what? Access to McCain. If lobbyists are running his campaign, who do you think will run the White House?
