Lou and Warren — thanks for taking time to work with BCP on this.

Like the posters before me, I also have a problem with the “one depositing player” clauses. It shouldn’t be the affiliate’s responsibility to make sure players can deposit. This is entirely up to the casino. How can I, as an affiliate, make sure that my players deposit? If BCP doesn’t have good processing in place, or if the customer support is crap, or if the landing page turns people off, how is that my problem? Making sure players deposit should be the casino’s problem, not mine.

Sending visitors is my job. Period. That is all I can do.

If BCP would just change the wording to something like “50 unique clicks” instead of “1 depositing player,” I’d be more likely to work with them again.

I don’t understand why casinos think they need to have a constant stream of “new” players to justify paying affiliates whose referrals continue to make deposits for years. Remember, without the affiliate, the casino wouldn’t have those players in the first place. The affiliate is entitled to 30% (or whatever) of the lifetime value of the players he refers.

A player might deposit $10k in one month and then leave. Or, a player might deposit $10k over the course of 5 years. Either way, the affiliate should end up with 30% of $10k, regardless of how many visitors he sends in the future.
