As I said I am not owed money and i would never complain about your holidays ,we tend to take an ENTIRE two week off for Christmas /New Years.You guys know when your holidays are and also when the conference was.You are not alone in late payments this month and some of them are not even Jewish or live in Israel 
I think the majority don’t get upset with late payments if they are told they are going to be late.Some count on the money on specific dates to pay bills.
