I have used Joomla.
Pros: Quick and Easy to get your site up and running. Easy to add content to the system. Lots of plugins to do what you want.
Cons: If you want to do something custom, it is difficult because you have to learn how to mod Joomla (which can be a pain in the butt). SEO is possible with plugins, but not perfect. Much easier to do SEO by yourself with a plain site.
