I’m having the same troubles with it redirecting to information.xxx, however I don’t think these guys are a scam.
I’ve heard that some webhosts will redirect pages to that site if the page 404’s or has other issues. So, this may be a combination of their website having issues and the hosting causing the redirect.
If anyone knows what’s going on it would be nice to know.
