I understand and I am not living in a third-world country either (actually according to stats I found with fast googling, I live in a country that has higher overall cost to live than USA).
The only thing that bothered me a bit in OP was that it just reads a tiny bit between the lines that:
1) Can´t cut some unnecessary expenses to cut overall expenses (like having pets/animals)
2) For example have to find a “nice place” – I am not in personal financial trouble myself (because of strict personal finance planning) but still I am not even dreaming about a “nice place”. I sleep, work and cook in the same one room.
I don´t want to turn this into an argue or anything and I hope the very best for OP. I just hope that OP will think everything through now very closely and start to practice strict personal finance planning and budgeting, keeping books about expenses, cutting off all the unnecessary expenses etc. so that this kind of a situation is less likely to occur in the future.
