thanks guys for your help. Ok, I suppose the problem why the link doesn’t work for me properly is in my cookies.
you really don’t want to clear all the cookies or you’ll loose any sites that automatically log you in like CAP or have your id/email address but ask for pw.
This is a better way:
in Firefox pull down tools > options > private > show cookies
in the middle of the popup box is the cookie area.
scroll down the list and click once on the cookie you’re interested in, click the + to view the data fields or press del to delete the entire cookie.
For IE 7.x it’s similar pull down tools > Internet options > privacy > sites
you can see if a cookies is allowed or blocked but not any real data.
cookies fields in FF:
_utma = unique visitor identifier.
_utmb and _utmc = Session cookies, only to identify the session
_utmz = Campaign tracking cookie, including the visitors keyword.
part of the _utmz from my seach in google for keywords “css font sizes” from htmlhelp.com cookie
cn=(organic)|utmcsr=google|utmctr=+css+font+sizes|utmcmd=organic
the CR casinos actually have an affiliate field so you can click on a link that contains your aff id and then check the cookie and see if it wrote it.
brightshare writes the btag
ajaff1375tsword_4 (my aff id with sub-campaign (tsword) to track tomb raider secret of the sword bonus slot review page)
sorry I’m bored.
