Good call. The UIGEA has a lot in common with 1920s-era Prohibition: Congress trying to legislate morality because they think it will be a popular move. They really have no clue that most people resent being told they’re not allowed to gamble (just like people don’t like being told they can or cannot do ANYTHING). Congress just assumes that the anti-gambling crowd is in the majority since they’re so vocal. Which is why those of us who want to see UIGEA repealed have to write or our their representatives to get this thing overturned.
