I agree with Martyn and Splinter, the index page is not needed. You want to provide your visitors with content or offers immediately. They might click on your site, not see any offers and leave.
I think the recent news section on the homepage can be reworked to have short snippets of news that can be clicked to read the full article. The scrolling feature has never been a favorite of mine.
Perhaps you can move the featured rakeback sites to the middle and top of the page where the video is and move the video to the right hand side. The video is nice but does it get someone to download a poker site?
Great job overall as the site is nice and clean.
