CNBC is almost a propaganda channel for the great capitalist dream these days – and during the financial crisis their pithy “in-depth” reporting on the scale and extent of the problems have sounded like reworded press releases from the Fed and other regulators.
The amount of unpayable debt still floating around the US corporate scene is horrible – yet the Fed offers to soak it up and is literally printing half a trillion extra US dollars to cover it all.
Want to know why there is inflation in any commodity that is measured in US dollars? It’s simply because with so much extra cash being pushed into circulation each US dollar is worth less.
It’s not so much that items are skyrocketting up – but the US dollar is crashing – but you will not find any mention of that every on CNBC.

The US badly needs an independant media voice.
