I don’t think it has anything to do with the recent bill. Sometimes this just happens, unfortunately.
In the past, I have had to deal with bounced / rejected checks from Betfred, Bodog, Casino Blasters, and Casino Coins. Eventually everything was settled, but it sure was a pain to deal with at the time.
Try to get paid electronically if you can; that way there is nothing to bounce.
