I tried a Mac, but have now gone back to PCs.
I might have just had a dud, but my 17 inch MacBook Pro was/is nothing but trouble and is now a glorified MP3 player. For a $AU 4000 machine I expected better. Mac service takes FOREVER to fix things too – if they can fix it. Often they’ll just replace stuff – especially iPods – which would have to be one of the most unreliable pieces of hardware ever created!
Macs look pretty tho, and for a lot of their users that’s all they are – vanityware.
I really tried to love my Mac, and some things are definitely great (like the airports) but to me it has been quicker, cheaper, easier & more reliable to stick with PCs. At least for business use anyway.
