dendrite, i think you hit the point there.
even though US is one of the biggest consumers of oil in the world, and high oil prices continue to significantly affect the life of US citizens (and obviously the rest of the world which on average is a lot poorer that people in US), most of its actions continue to drive the oil price up. the latest craze to attack iran and assure israel that an attack is imminent is only making it sweeter for oil producers. seems like the hidden agenda behind the war on terror is to make even more money for the oil industry…
didn’t a week ago bush call for a lift on a ban of producing oil off US shelfs or something?
