I had a conference call with Jeff and Fred yesterday (who spoke very highly of you and Dominique by the way
) and they are taking the issue to the board for approval. We discussed a modified plan that acheives their goal of restimulating inactive publishers while meeting affiliate needs as well.
In the mean time I want to reiterate that Casino Blasters has always been honorable in their dealings with players and affiliates. They have no intent of closing peoples accounts or seizing players. This term came about as a result of their desire to get people promoting their brands again and they never viewed it as predatory. Jeff was quick to point out that the wording stated that this term was enacted on a case by case basis and was not going to be used as a way to avoid paying people.
I stressed that this term as it stood was going to be unacceptable to the vast majority of affiliates and that in its present form would do more harm then good.
Lets give them a few days and see what they can do…
