The trams freaked me out the first time I drove in Melbourne too, but you get used to them. Just gotta treat them like extremely slow moving cars :tongue:
If only they would move into the left hand lane so you could overtake them..
Personally, I think Melbourne is so much easier to drive in. Sydney is crap. Too many one way streets and tolls everywhere.. One night i was driving to the casino from the south where I live, and usually I would have to pay ~$3 something for the toll to get there quickest but because coming out of the tunnel some asshole wouldn’t let me into their lane on the left, I had to drive another 30 minutes and $20 in tolls later to go back the way i came from and turn around to go into the casino that way again because of the one way streets and not being able to get in on the other side… Then I mistook the Paddys markets parking for the casino car park and had to pay another 20 bucks in parking and 10 bucks to catch the tram over to the bloody casino..
I hate Sydney
