Tom, I understand your madness – I have OCD (according to my girlfriend) as I can’t go to sleep unless all the draws/wardrobes are shut.
Everything on my desk is lined up perfectly too!
I think its a sign of perfectionism – attention to detail.
I also think that on the right hand side of the type-in area you should have the smileys in order of popularity/use.
I don’t drink coffee either
