Hillary is old school and can steal votes from the “average” american, the blue collar white guy that works 40 hours a week. Obama doesn’t. So it isn’t really a matter of is she the best candidate, it’s a matter of who’s going to win it for the Democrats.
My girlfriend is from North Carolina and she is independant leaning on republican. She dislikes McCain and at first she thought about voting for Obama. Not after the Rev. Wright bullshit. Sure now Barack rejects it and left that church, but he stayed there all his life and it took him a long time to stop condoning it.
