I made the mistake of flying during the day – arriving after 23 hrs journey in London in the morning without having slept a wink. And no hotel room til afternoon. Usually I have the sense of flying at night, catching some sleep and arriving in the afternoon. Much easier to adjust to the time difference that way.
San Francisco was in the 90s and hotter than I ever remember it and no airconditioning most places. Hottttt!

Hopefully in Limassol all will be pleasant – looks like it so far.
