I prefer, a light colored site. I generally do not stick around if I run across a dark one as I find them difficult to read.
IMO, the ones who have the money that matters are over 30 -40 year range. Their eyesight may not be 100%. Therefore, I think the lighter sites are easier for them to read. Just my 2 cents.
