I suggest that you try staying at a hotel/casino off the stript. We go to Sam’s Town about once a month. They free bus rides to most of the major casinos in Vegas.
You can also try the New Olreans and the Point (too far from action).
If your looking to save money try the older hotels that are maintained and provide a good atmosphere. The newer ones or the ones on the strip need suckers (I mean people) to pay for the FREE enjoyment items that they provide to the sightseers
