Dec 16 my website (iseekblog) went offline along with craps-player.com .The hosting company rochess.net was not available for 24 hours and the websites were offline for 36 hours.When he put them back up he put up a database in iseekblog from sept 28 which resulted in over 3000 blog members losing their blog accounts.I have waited 9 days with no contact from this person and finally sunday he came back home after enjoying his xmas holiday.He made it seem like i should have thanked him for coming home and cutting his vacation 3 days short too.
Because this is a godaddy reseller ,no support ,he sleeps and the server can go down and nobody is around to help and after losing a database worth $6000.00 I had no choice but scramble to move all my websites.
As ladyholdem earlier posted he puts domains in his account knowing full well you can have your own acct to put the domains.In my case I bought zz0.org about 15 months ago and I didnt have any experience back then with the script it was using so i asked edward , the previous owner to deal with ron to get my domain and site transfered over.Ron put this domain in his godaddy account instead of in mine which he had access to.In a year he had about a dozen of my websites and i had to spend 6 months trying to get some of them back that were sold , he kept saying he forgot blah blah blah.
Here is present situation ,he lost my database , he has two domains zz0.org and craps-player.com.He is trying to get me to pay 8 months for 30 ips ,claims he paid them yearly although i didnt sign any contracts and he bills me monthly.He also is claiming that i owe him some money for ‘tech help.Keep in mind i have paid him over $3000.00 and only got ‘upgraded’ to 10gb about 6 months ago.I have A vps with him , i cant even set up wordpress or add new domains or even make subdomains.My hosting plan is for 10gb although right now there are 23 sites using less than 1 gb.When he got me the new server about 6months ago it was because the old plan wasnt working , i didnt have a plesk panel just http://ftp.He gave me a plesk panel but it is useless.
I cant even write 1/20 of the nightmare this person has been.And i wouldnt even post it in public except he has many gambling clients and his wife owns some gambling sites too.So please if you deal with him as i know at least 1 other cap member does , get control of your domains and get the hell away from him.How any hosting company can go away for a week and not have any email access let alone a way to detect trouble is beyond me.
If your website is worth anything at all PLEASE do not deal with any company who has no 24/7 tech support.And who does not send out monthly invoices but conducts all business via MSN and expect people to send him money without explaination.My database is lost and i have to take that lesson which cost me $6000 and move on.I will update all of you in couple days when the directory is live again
