I wouldn’t worry too much. Kawanakee is simply low budget licensing. Companies can still license offshore in Antigua or if they wish to target Europe in Malta which is where the big operatirs have all moved to lately.
About 5 years ago when I looked into purchasing a casino a license in Kawanakee the fee was 8k a month versus 15k for Antigua.
But this could explain why golden palace (golden casino) are having problems and bouncing checks left and right. This could also make it more difficult for the small operator, as they might not be able to afford licensing elsewhere.
