I hate hearing about a family that the parents have money but the kids don’t get any help when they need it…i don’t know if this is the positon your in with your parents, but if it is…shame on them.
If i had money, and my kids were living a decent life, and trying to take care of their own families, and ran into hardship, i would be there with open hands and wallets. My father is the same damn way, he may not have alot of money, but he defineltly had enough to help out his daughters when times were tough, but NOOOO…he wanted nothing to do with us or our troubles, i guess his memory fails him, because i remember growing up and him needing help from family members to get by sometimes, but he swears he never had any help…lol
BB, i think you should be proud of who you are, and how you live your life, the past is the past, and we all have one, believe meeee! lollll…but don’t let money get you down, i think money is the route to misery, the more money you have, the more b ills you get…so, you can’t pay something, screw em if they can’t take a joke….or atleast give people time to get the money to pay the damn bill. Bills act like we are taking money out there damn pockets, i mean, the customer service people actually act like its there money we are not paying???….i had the gas company threaten me one time, telling me if i did not pay on time, i would never get a house!!!….i said, i ain’t never getting a damn house anyway, but seeing how concerned you are about it, why don’t YOU buy me one then! lolll
Sounds like you have your hands full with kids, and a big family. must be great if you all get along? lol
Buying for that many people is very hard….My husband has a big family and every christmas they get together and exchange presents and have a big dinner, and its hard for me, because i am not used to this type of family. I have no family , we never got together or showed love …since i have been on my own anyway….so to be in a family that does this, its uncomfortable for me sometimes….especially when the buy you something that is so nice, and you can’t reciprocate….i mean we can afford to buy a little something for everyone in the family,….but most of his family, is better off than us, so they spend more, and it kinda makes you feel, ashamed. They don’t mean to make yo ufeel that way, but it does.
So, my answer to that problem is this…
I write poems, personalized ones, for my mother and father inlaw….my sister and brother inlaws….something about them, with their names in the poems, and something about the past year, or an accomplishment that they have done in there lives…and then i go out and spend maybe…10$ on a nice frame, and i print out the poem on nice paper and decorate it, with stuff that goes with the poem, or pics of them…and then i wrap them and give them for presents…and they were a huge hit!…so finally i found my little nitch for family presents!! lollllllllll
Maybe you should do something like that for your huge family…..make someone cry…it always works! lolllll
