Surely its largely down to your content and demographic? If you promote based on bonuses etc, then yes I would imagine CPA would probably work best. Similarly, if you were not giving a player all the info they needed to make the right choice of poker room, or just giving them the standard promo spiel about how great it is, then again CPA would probably be better, because at some point they will probably discover a better option for them and move on.

But if your information is good enough to make sure they get the room that suits them, or if you are not selling to “bonus” traffic but to a demographic consisting of serious or experienced players, then I would have thought Rev Share would blow CPA away.

I’ve been lead to believe that when a “serious” poker player finds a good room that suits them, they are likely to stay more loyal than your average casino player. Probably because the casino player sees “luck” as more of a factor.

I am new to the poker side but that just seems like common sense, in any type of gambling market. So surely its down to the webmaster / website / content / target audience as to which works best?
