well the problem is EU is a legislative and administrative mammoth – even if something is oficially legal/illegal, it still takes months or sometimes years to impose…
the general trend seems to be that online gambling should be legalized and regulated by the EU countries, with no state-monopolies.
thats theory anyways – take france for example: its problematic for poker players (some companies do not accept french players and do not pay CPAs for them) even though E Comission seems to have “ordered” the french government a few times to soften its stance…
