Anyone who runs their business based on a friendship or relationship with an affiliate manager is being naive.
When a site changes their terms to introduce predatory terms – where they can take away earnings then its BAD NEWS … and it’s time to diversify away from that company.
No matter how friendly the affiliate manager is – remember they’re just a salaried employee with no special loyalty or bond to the program. Affiliate managers move on very quickly – as soon as they find a new job.

Sure I’d rather have a friendly face to communicate with – but get the business terms right first – and then consider who is standing in the shop window. They’ll only be there 3-6 months anyway.
