Microgaming is crap compared to land based games that are now SERVER-BASED. Yes – they are still software and any software can be ported to a software-based casino quite easily.
Don’t for a minute think that software as outdated (besides a few games) as MGS will be that much better than software designed by casinos with vast amounts of cash to throw at designers from places like Pixar, EA, etc….
I am sure that if Vegas casinos already have software ready to fly – some of the games will be quite spectacular. It would also mean a huge shift in the style of games, IMO… no longer the same ol’ same ol’ non-creative crap
Of course, that is just my opinion 
And, YES, they will still need us to a certain extent.
