RTG has a terrible accounting system for affiliates.
Even with the most ethical and best converting casinos you have a problem. I have always carried a handful of ethical RTG casinos as a service to players who like the software, but I have never found them to be competative with other softwares as far as the buck for the volume goes.
That said, I also don’t like the huge bonus model. It attracts bonus hunters, problem gamblers and people who think they are getting something for free and end up pissed off when they see they are paying more and more for the illusion or when they can’t cash out. That is why the huge bonus model casinos have more public image problems than others.
I prefer steady players with an entertainment budget who are educated and know what to expect. These are generally not interested in huge bonuses but look at reputation and trust. I find I make more money and sleep better at night working in this fashion.
