But a lot of times those are innocent affiliates links set as decoys, the juice is simply passed on in other forms (text links or a 301 redirect later in time) to other sites, to other sites, then to the landing page.
So in essence a lot of these spammers also set up a chain of good guys reporting good guys in the process.
