Not Google, but I had a non casino site banned with Yahoo.

The reason?.
I sent an email and I received a canned answer about guidelines etc.
100% white hat with less than 200 backlinks.
Never restored.

I have had a site banned by Yahoo, and the same happened to me. I always got a generic response from yahoo, telling me that I broke their TOS. I never used any blackhat SEO, but nevertheless, I got banned.. and I’ve spent almost 2 years trying to have it re-listed in yahoo. I realize that Google bring more visitors, but I still want that extra 10-25% coming from Yahoo.

I haven’t had a site banned from Google, BUT from what I hear it’s not impossible to have the ban lifted. Difficult yes, but not impossible. I’ve heard a lot of stories about being gimped from G or not obtaining the same SERPs.

That’s why I think it’s better to have more than one site.. If you get your only site banned then you have to start all over again.

I can only imagine prof’s site.. and how much he put into it to get it to it’s highly coveted position with “online casino”. I feel you man..
