best case: business as usual – if you can call it that.
worst case: shit hits the fan.
Unfortunately, even if the UIEGA was repealed, the DOJ’s stance towards the legality of online gambling will remain the same. A gaming operator changing flights in New York will still be arrested and payment processors will have their funds seized. Only regulation, that includes language to amend the wire act, would get the DOJ off everybody’s ass. Until that day, players are going to remain fearful of having their funds confiscated, and I don’t blame them.
