its not just rtg that work this way – most places are the same.

Think of it this way :
Bonus funds are not real money that can ever be won by the casino – so there is no way that you are ever paid for it. It’s deducted from any REAL player losses.

A simple example may help :

A player joins up and deposits $200 on a 100% bonus and then plays all $400 and loses it all.

Now – how much profit can the casino make?
– $400? No.
– Only the $200 deposit.

So real profit is :
– $400 gross less $200 bonus = $200 net to be shared with the affiliate.

It’s no more complex than that.

I get that guys, what I wanted to ascertain was that affiliates are not being dinged if a player is given a bonus and loses it all back. I thought I read a thread one time saying that even if a player loses back bonus money, we are still paying 30% of the bonus money given to them even if the money came back in the door. I know there was a thread somewhere about this and I wasn’t happy about what I learned, I just can’t remember the details. Or maybe it was a dream, and thats why I woke up in a cold sweat yelling horse shit last night.
