Exactly, one of the points im trying to make Mojo. Why is Horse Betting and Lottery exempt? Simple, the US Government has “Control” and “Governance” over those two entites. They don’t offshore booking and casinos. Alot of this is more about “Control” then anything else. The whole law was passed on the “American Values Agenda” which is all out setting Americans Morals and Values according to the Christian Right. You got it Control.

That’s why we want less External pressure and more Internal. Americans don’t like to feel pressured or challenged. I’m not sure where some say we don’t ban together I will submit 9/11, Columbia accident, VT Shootings, the beginning of the Iraq conflict for an example. Not everyone, including me liked the Iraq war. But after the bullets started flying I was hoping for a quick war and an easy departure, neither obviously happened. So Americans do and will ban together.

Brings me to another ? for those Affiliate vets who have been doing this for the last decade or so. For those making several k’s per-month in the affiliate business. Didn’t you ever expect this to possibly come to a end or head sometime? It never crossed your mind that eventually the Government (IRS or DOJ) would crack down on Gambling or Affiliates themselves? I would think some would have prepaired long ago for a possible meltdown. In fact, if I was here that long I would have been knowing eventually it would have happened.

I am all for internal pressure, and I am all for external pressure.

I guess you have gathered by now that I am very much for free trade in general. For centuries neighbors have made deals with each other – it keeps things organized and avoids feuds and wars. Instead of killing each other, people went to the city elders or court or whatever the times had to offer as probem resolution places.

When you try to apply that on a larger scale and in the present, you need places like the WTO and the EU. Someone has to function as a problem resolution place and we need to all respect the decisions, regardless of the size or power an individual country may have.

Skipping over the 9/11 and Iraq thing, that would open up a totally different debate and throw the thread into the politics section. Just trying to not stray too much.

As for what I expected when I got started – pretty much nothing. I started it as a hobby because I like games. I made no profit for literally years, everything I earned I plowed back into the site. I didn’t wake up one day and say: “Oh boy, I want to promote casinos to make a decent living.” It just happened because I loved growing the site. I put my heart in it. By now it has paid me back for years of free labor. It’s all good as far as that is concerned. If it stops alltogether, I doubtlessly will put my heart into creating something else. I have been an entrepreneur my entire life, with varying success. What have I learned? All the successes were based on two things: I enjoyed what I was doing, and I put every possible penny back into the project. I also learned that business environment is ever changing, and what is a good business today may not be so tomorrow. If you are an entrepreneur, you have to be able to live with that and flow with the punches. Either you can adjust the business to fit the times (and the really successful brick and mortar businesses have to do this all the time) or you look for greener pastures.
