In German, you can have sentences a page long or more. All the verbs will be in reverse order at the end of the sentence.
If you read the old German philosophers, almost all sentences are like that – oddly enough if the reader is familiar with such structures it does improve clarity.
This person could have any number of languages as mother tongue. English is one of the few languages that has such simple grammar that long sentences become totally confusing.
I battle with this all the time and have to go over what I write with an ax and chop it up.
