To me, it is not a matter of whether I could perform up to standards, that would not be what I base my decision on.

I consider such predatory terms simple theft. If they decided to phase you out, block you from sending new players and continue to pay the monies due to you until your existing players have left, that would be one thing. But confiscating monies due is theft, pure and simple.

I will not do business with thieves.

Secondly, it prevents you from selling your site but keeping your accounts, a common practice. It practically makes your accounts worthless unless you continue with your site. Forget retirement.

Thirdly ( and likely what is the intended effect) you cannot manage your clients according to profitability anymore. As mentioned above, sometimes it is a wise business decision to replace a client for a time in order to build up a player base elsewhere, or take advantage of a promo offered elsewhere. Your site may suffer from these limitations, you will not be able to make decisions based on who has the best offer for your players.

These are three good reasons not to deal with programs that sport predatory terms.
