Not a silly question … but the possible answers are valid…
(1) The affiliate may not have been aware of the term.
Don’t even pretend that you actually read all the T&C’s.

After all who expects our partners to pull the dirty rule if we’re giving genuine effort.
Look …. I promote CanBet (who are a good site for players) through ComissionKing and they have a similar rule.
We’ve been discussing this over the phone – and although they explained why it was intended for – and that it wasn’t intended for use against genuine affiliates … I continued to hold fast that it was a reason why I would not recommend them to other affiliates.
Recently (this week) they’ve changed their term as a result of our talks :
– from 1 new depositor a month required to receive payments
– to 1 depositor every 3 months …
It’s still a risk – especially to new affiliates with low traffic … but it’s a term that I can live with as I expect to achieve 10-20 players a month with minimal promotional efforts.
so while I can read the term – and make a value decision that I will achieve this level – new affiliate may not accurately assess that risk.
