I have thought about a Union for years. It would certainly empower us.
There is good reason though for why I have never followed through. Unions can become very restrictive, you have to tow the line. A union can seriously infringe on your freedom, and it can make life changing decisions for you even if you don’t agree.
I have always been a maverick, I have my own opinions and make my own decisions. I don’t think I want to give up my freedom in exchange for more power. I have seen too much of that in US politics lately.
