Stupid, I agree that sports betting is risky but since this new law passed any affiliates targetting US traffic is at risk. Most of the affiliates here in this forum looking for a new sportsbook are doing so because they have good listed sites for US based terms that will not convert with other traffic.
Even though from previous advice to affiliates to diversify I am making them aware of the options they have if they wish to continue pushing for US traffic.
Consider this – if you target casino and poker players from the US you are at the same risk as targetting sports betting.
Since the US did not comply with the Antigua ruling, making them criminals themselves this gave the government of Antigua power to do things without the US intefering and that is why a lot of sportsbooks have moved their servers or themselves to the island. So online gambling is siffering but here to stay!
