Hi All,
Please rest assured that we do understand everyone’s frustration with what is happening at the moment. Trust us when we say that it is a #1 priority in our office and has been for nearly 4 weeks now.
We are furiously working on the payment situation and you can trust us when we say that we are taking this extremely seriously and it’s not about “not wanting to pay” anyone.
We don’t expect players to jump through any hoops (as suggested) to get their funds, this would be simply unrealistic and completely unreasonable of us. Hence we are very cautious about how we attempt to pay the players. What would be the point of using a payment process that was unavailable by the time they went to claim the funds we send?
We have called players and affiliates to personally discuss their options for payment with them and will continue to do so until such time as there is more clarity and a way forward for everyone.
Quite frankly, we have been completely honest with everyone and are fairly confident that we are actually one of the few groups on CAP who are making a commitment to our partners and their players by providing this information and keeping you guys as updated as we are.
We don’t believe that we’ve dropped the ball, in fact on the contrary, we are working harder than can be imagined to ensure that you are all taken care of. We are sure you all can appreciate the level of stress that we are going through with all of this. We don’t like this situation anymore than any of you and are doing EVERYTHING to ensure that everyone’s best interests are taken care of.
As Dom has said, place the blame where the blame is due and frankly, that’s not with us at the moment. We want to pay everyone what they are owed and move on with our lives, but the simple fact of the matter is right now, we are in a situation where we need to make sure we handle payments appropriately and correctly for the future benefit of everyone.
As we have mentioned previously, we will ensure you guys get any updates as they happen and do our very best to keep you informed on how we are progressing with payment options.
Regards,
Jon and Trish at CPS.
