I couldn’t think of a better group I would like to have in our corner than those very same people who fight for our liberties and put their lives on the line to keep our country free. I am quite sure they have earned the right to play a $5 poker game in their own house instead of letting some idiot that doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground telling him its against the law. Their voice should definitely give our cause some much needed clout, and I couldn’t imagine a better group to benefit from regulating our industry. I have always thought our country is not even in the game when it comes to taking care of our veterans. We have billions to donate to the whole world, yet we can’t find the money to get our homeless veterans off the street and provide them the proper healthcare they need, and their the ones who risked it all. they deserve it!!!

I think it is important to show these idiots opposing online gambling who think our industry consists of nothing but fraud, terrorists, and money laundering–that our industry can do alot of good, even pick up the slack where the hipocritical government falls short like pitching in to get our veterans food, shelter and healthcare. If there was a specific fund set up where people from our industry could easily make a donation to this veterans group, I think it would go a long way. Point being if the industry really came together, what a deed to have under our belt, raised $500K for the veterans, maybe $1 Mil, maybe only $100K, who knows but we need some positives associated with our industry anyway. And it’s something I would like to do anyway, aside from the inherited benefit it would have for our industry. I wouldn’t mind donating a small portion every month, regardless of the outcome of this collaboration. Just a thought, but at any rate its a brilliant collaboration, and perhaps our voices will be heard and taken seriously now.
