Well, I think you would have to
1. unlock domain at godaddy
2. go to the new registrar and request the transfer
the new registrar should then contact goDaddy and ask to transfer the domain
Godaddy should then email you with instructions on how to approve the transfer.
You approve and the domain will be transfered.
