Hey ReDRulvl…

Thanks so much for the post. When it comes to cash, I guess I need to make this as straightforward as I can:

Webmasters and Players…

To obtain our objective, the APCW and our partners will need funding. Cash to reach out via the media… cash to reach politicians… cash to support travel to political events… cash to run the basic business of an organization that’s growing quickly and expected to grow even bigger and faster very soon.

That said, webmasters are without a doubt the most generous bunch. Even though the casinos and software providers have much deeper pockets, the most to gain, and the most to lose. I am still waiting for one of them… any one of them… to step up and help.

The webmasters support is wonderful, but I would really prefer to not take webmaster or player donations. I believe that anything webmasters and players could give would hurt them more than help us, because the expenses involved are going to be high for individuals… but a pretty easy business investment for an online gaming company.

Casinos, Affiliate Programs, and Software Providers…

I know you’re waiting to see what this “big” announcement is… and I don’t blame you. But let me give you a sneak preview at what you’re looking at:

The APCW and our partners may soon be in a unique position relative to the $8 billion American gaming market. If successful (and there is a relatively high degree of our success on many levels) we will also be in a position of decision making for this market.

If you want to work with us, now would be a good time to get off your backsides and say so. Those who help now will be remembered. Those who sit by doing nothing may find themselves stuck in that same position if and when we are successful.

People have always been cynical when it came to our ability (or anyones ability) to affect change for our industry… yet we’re close to doing just that. Many have sat to the side and quietly watched for a long time. It is our opinion that if you cannot help us save the American industry right now then you really should not be able to profit from it in the future.

Someone will step up to fund this. Others will lose out. It’s really a simple business decision.
