Just to throw my .02 cents in. Popular vote is by population like New York and California – blue states. The reasoning is that you want the smaller states to have a say in the affairs – that’s why we don’t use the popular vote since the bigger states would control the country while the smaller states would basically be there to serve the wishes of the larger states.
As for WMDs, I don’t know why the news media doesn’t mention about the 2 jets that were found buried in the earth or the 500 bombs that were also buried. Maybe, they don’t want the people to know the truth.
