As far as Americans not truly voting in Bush, that is BS. If George Bush was truly as unpopular as you say, then the vote would not have been close enough for his brother to rig. I have actually heard some people on this forum say they voted for Bush in the last election (although they regret it now). I have many close friends and family members who are die hard Bush supporters (much to my disbelief). There are writers on my staff who still support Bush. The Rush Limbaugh’s and Sean Hannedy’s of the world are a very large block of America. If you get out of the big cities, and head to the country, where most people are die hard christains, you will find many Americans blindly supporting Bush for his conservativism and religious beliefs. And if you go back to the big cities, most people (my peers) are die hard supporters of Bush because he lowers their taxes. Bush did not get into office because of any other factor other than he was voted in by Americans.
America has suffered some serious damages and losses of freedoms as result of Bush and his cronies being in office, but it is not irreparable damage, it can’t be, because if it is, why the hell are we all still here?
