What’s the risk for you:
The checks could be cancelled without warning to avoid detection
The checks could be confiscated by the authorities/bank
A cheque could get lost in the mail
What’s the risk for them?
Why would a check writer pull out? Why would a check writer want to avoid detection? Since I’m not doing anything illegal, I’d be a little bothered if my bank conficated a check. Last time I checked, I pay them to cash them, not confiscate them. Lost in the mail?? Yeah, every once in awhile, but seriously, it rarely happens.
I’ll ask again. What’s the risk for them??
How many times have we been told that goofy terms are in our best interest when they obviously are not?
I know that nobody would like to “out” themselves with their real concerns, but sheesh. Don’t act like cheques getting lost is a big risk to anyone. They should just say that they don’t want to do it. I’m wading through enough BS as it is.
