I’m curious because I was talking to an AM several weeks ago about doing debit card POS. (Point of Sale). The AM wasn’t aware of them and wanted to know more. Perhaps their banking people implemented it.
Next time you use it maybe you can call your telephone banking and see if it debited your account right away?
POS transactions is really the way to go. It’s the players own money vs. borrowed money from a credit card. Plus the limit is much higher than a regular old ATM withdrawal. e-Wallets are a hassle and turn most players away.
Then again it could have just been a fluke, maybe the bank was making code changes and you hit just right. I know my bank is now returning a “no such account” back to NETeller.
