Leave your friend alone and let them enjoy themselves as long as it doesnt become a problem or financial strain on them. If you see that happeneing then by all means advise them to check out Gamblers Anonymous or a similar resource that is equipt for dealing with problem gamblers.
The good news is MOST people will spend just enough money to get pissed off then quit playing and NOT develop an addicition.
